Is anyone else getting a high pitched whine coming out of their keyboard? I've been hearing this for months wondering if my ears were just playing tricks on me, but I finally figured out that it's this keyboard. I only hear this with the leds on, and most notably on the all-blue color (oddly, I don't really hear it when it's all white -- every other setting seems to trigger the sound at least some). I'm curious if this is normal, or if it's a defect with the board.

HikashNot normal. Does it persist with the LED brightness lowered? Plugged into a different powered hub or computer? Different cable?

Bummer. Here are the test results (spoiler: nothing really makes this sound go away, other than turning off the leds)
  • Happens with either the key lighting or under lighting (the under lighting is quieter)
  • Dimming the keyboard lowers the volume, but it's still present. If 0 is all the way off, and 1 is the next brightness level, then it's not really audible until you get to 2
  • This occurs with my laptop (with and without dock), and a desktop.
  • This does occur with a different cable (usb-c on both ends).
Just as a sanity check, I also checked my old razer chroma, and I can't hear anything from it -- so probably not super hearing. :)

HikashThanks for testing. I've encountered sporadic reports of LED whine, but it'd be nice to be able to compare people's hardware and usage conditions. I think the best option would be a return for replacement if you cannot live with LED whine (doesn't seem to affect basic functionality).
