Holy cow! I was expecting mine to ship on 5/31 but I got the notice this morning (5/17 ... 2 WEEKS EARLY!!!) that my X-Mid is shipping!!! We're camping next weekend and I was thinking it wouldn't be here in time, but now it's totally possible. Super excited! Question for Dan: I have made DIY footprints out of Tyvek for my other tents, and even a "welcome mat" for my gear under my hammock (I mostly hammock camp). Do you have or have you seen any suggested patterns or designs for a footprint for the X-Mid? If not, I'll come up with something and post it on this discussion board.

dandurstonAwesome ... thanks Dan! I'm working up a layout for two footprint designs:

Minimalist (weight conscious) for bathtub only.
Bathtub + "wings" for vestibule areas.

I'll post the designs and pics once I've had a chance to work through them and make sure they work.

gavainmHi! thanks for a great tent, Dan. I’m only using the fly, but I’m super happy w it. Do you have the designs/ pics up for the foot prints? What do you think about using tyvek? Thanks!
