Have the legends like "Shif t" been fixed? The images would give the impression that they have, or are the save as other DCX caps (BoW/WoB)?

Indeed - "Shift" legends have been updated to decrease the length of the arms on the 'f' and 't' characters, as well as to minimize spacing between those characters.

They said somewhere in the announcement for this that the Shift molds will be fixed beginning with this set's production. (But the renders here still show the gap.)

Can these cause any north facing interference? Assuming they're used with switches that would cause that with cherry profiles.
