I would like to see the headphone frequency response with each set of pads. I would like a better explanation of some of the descriptive jargon. Lower internal reflections: Does this have an effect on imaging, soundstage or what? Tightening the imaging and widening the soundstage: Does tightening just mean better imaging? Wider and more focused soundstage: Is more focused just a better way of saying better imaging? Not sure of difference between this and "Tightening the imaging and widening the soundstage." Tighter soundstage: Relative to original pads? Can you send these pads to outside reviewers so we get more feedback?

What are the interior dimensions?

To add to this question - does these earpads have a different dimension profile, to make them deeper and avoid ears touching the inside of headphones?

Do the Drop+THX Panda headphone ear-cups come with directions on how to change them? One thing I am seeing by those who have tried to take the original ear-cups off was they are very hard to remove due to some adhesive etc. I would absolutely hate to buy the new Sheepskin ear-cups and I end up breaking my awesome headphones trying to remove the original ear-cups. If they don’t come with directions this should be something you start doing AND/OR make those directions available via an instructional video on the Panda or the Panda Ear-Cups Details or Community section. Looking forward to seeing your reply, until then ..... Safe and Happy Listening. Boomer 🐼 🎧

There is no adhesive holding the pads on. It’s snapping clips. Easily replaceable and swappable.

MarinaraAddictThanks. . . I’m seeing on some other posts from people that have changed them for ones that were done with 3D Printers that the ear-cups were a little stubborn to remove as some of the clips had a little adhesive on theirs. I’m ordering the new sheepskin ones and I have seen a post from another community member that posted instructions on how the best way is to remove them along with a picture of where the clips are. I would just hate to ruin my awesome Pandas. Thanks again . . . . Happy Listening, Boomer 🐼 🎧

MarinaraAddictThere absolutely is adhesive holding the pads, but it isn't intentional. The plastic bits from the headphone side appear to have been inadvertently glued to the pleather of the stock pads because of either excess glue or lack of proper dry time before factory pad install. I'm not sure if this is limited to the early runs or not, but I've S/N 00108, so that could factor into my finding.

FayneMy pair was ordered through the early Indiegogo campaign and I’ve had absolutely no problem removing the pads ever. No evidence of any adhesive anywhere.

MarinaraAddictYeah, my order was in the first few minutes of the initial drop that quickly ended before the early Indygogo started. Delivered July 2. The adhesive isn't everywhere, just on the posts that stick into the pad assembly, and not on every one.

You can see where it actually tore off the adhesive from the pleather during the swap, especially the middle one.

The pads are actually easy to remove. They are not glued into place. But what is difficult is putting them back on. It needs a surprising amount of force to snap the clips back into place to the point where you feel like you might break them. Idk if its the mount’s fault or the pads but that is my experience with them. Cheers and let us know how those sheepskin pads fare :D

Soham1255there was actually a small amount of adhesive looking stuff on mine, but it was still pretty easy to remove once i got how it works.

Elon61Huh, then i guess there are variants with or without glue applied onto their pads....Interesting

Soham1255It seems like the glued bits has more to do with excess glue on the stock pads and/or not enough drying time after the construction of the stock pads before press fit assembly with the cans. The posts on the headphone side that go up into the pad retaining ring push directly against a pleather surface that is coated with glue.

Will these work on the Oppo PM3 as well?

I wasn't able to get the Panda pads to fit on my PM3. Though it could be a user error thing, I couldn't get any of the tabs to line up or even click in. The outer dimensions are good though, it's the locations of the tabs that seems to be problematic IMO.

I assume these are made by Dekoni. But it’s not on there website where they usually have an instruction video on how to change pads. How do you remove original pads? As mentioned in an earlier post, don’t want to break my cans.

You just have to pull pretty hard. I pulled from the sides and there was some tearing sounds as the excessive glue on the stock pads came lose from the plastic clips that hold the pads assembly on. It might be easier to pull from the top or bottom. Once one of the clips comes lose, the whole pad comes out pretty easily.
