It’s not bad at all for the price halo trues are alright but not the best tactile I’ve had the green looks great on the keyboard though and if it was hot swap I would definitely be using it more

Meh at best
i know it’s a refurbished board. And the only thing wrong should be the space bar. But. The switches in this board are subpar. Loud springy noise with each keystroke. Each switch on the right half has more resistance than the left. Buyer beware. If you need a razer grade keyboard for 50$ then get it.

fantastic value!
There is a bit of noise to a few keys but nothing some lubricant cannot address. I do not find the keys stiff, as indicated by other reviews, whatsoever. Anyone looking to break into the world of mechanical keys would be well-served by picking up one of these, and anyone with too many computers will likely find this to be an upgrade for one or the other--I for one made it my in-office keyboard!

Not hotswap, no VIA/QMK
Bought this for a friend so he can display some caps. The per key lighting looks great with the Terror Below keycaps. It's cost effective and gets the job done as a keyboard.

A great budget board
At $40 for the black/black refurb board, it's hard to go wrong. I wanted a nicer keyboard for my office than the generic membrane keyboards that are provided by work, and this fits the bill very nicely The Good: Really nice build quality, nicely packaged, I haven't experienced any of the refurb "issues". White LCD backlighting looks great, and fits in well in a work setting The Not as Good: I don't care for the Halo True switches. They're on the heavy side, and feel a bit mushy for my tastes. That stiffness does seem to be "breaking in" as I use the keyboard though Would recommend, especially at $40.

A bargain if you like very stiff keys
I'm not going to say very much about the build quality or features this keyboard may or may not have because this is a refurb. There are going to be differences between units even outside the kinds of variance that you might expect for a regular product. I didnt notice much spring ping on the spacebar of my unit, unlike the warning in the description, but my shift key seems to be either under-lubed or simply unlubed. I went into this expecting there to be some small qc issues. I will say that the Halo True switches are incredibly stiff, so much so that I really and truly hated the keyboard the second I started typing on it. I wanted something a little quieter than the kailh box jades I put in my planck, and I was immediately reviled by the amount of resistance I got from the Trues. After taking a little time to break it in and get used to the way that the switches feel, I'm a lot more positive about them even if these arent my favorite switches to type with. I got the black on black colorway, which is $40 instead of $50, and for $40 I think this is a no-brainer if you need something in the tenkeyless form factor (or, at least, something with easily accessible number keys for games) and are okay with trying something that feels very different.

Good for $50
There were some small cosmetic blemishes on the case but they aren't particularly noticeable. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

Solid for the price
As time marches on and production. Gets better at a lower price, this board may not stand the test of time. As it is now, though, $50 is a really good price for this board including switches and caps. If you have the ability to desolder, this board is even more worth it.

Save a little more and buy something with a hotswap board.
I initially bought this board to replace a stock keyboard that came with my PC. My thought was- I just want something quality that works. I didn't know any better honestly. I just saw "mechanical keyboard" and "$50" and I was like, "SOLD!" The model I bought was have the "Halo True" switches which require SO much force to actuate and typing on this board gets tiring VERY quickly. The board is tray mounted so it is very stiff. The switches are soldiered on which you can't remove unless you have a de-soldering iron and tools. The switched themselves are bone dry and are pingy as hell. The stabilizers have ZERO lubrication and tick. The overall experience is... not great. And that is putting it nicely. There is also no way to remap keys if you don't like the built in shortcuts for volume, mute, etc. (no VIA support). This is basically the most unfriendly keyboard you can buy for 50 dollars. But if you didn't know any better then you would think this was normal. Save your money and buy something else.
