Refurbished is a great deal for this keyboard
I needed a second keyboard and saw this one as a refurb. I think it's a pretty good keyboard and I like typing on it. It would be almost perfect if it was hot swappable. Pros
  • Packaged well -- everything was well protected and complete
  • Solid build
  • Green aluminum color is nice and understated
  • Risers work well and put the keyboard at a good angle
  • All the keys, usb, etc. worked as expected out of the box
Neutral
  • Switches are just ok. I got the Trues and they're a little ping-y -- I top lubed them and that helped a little. I'll probably take it apart and see if I can lube the stabilizer bars from the side.
  • The case has some minor flaws in the finish -- I don't know if was a manufacturing defect or the fact that it was used, but it's nothing too noticeable and expected for the price.
  • The keycaps look nice and match the case pretty well, but they're not easy to read when the backlight is off. That's easily solved with a new set of keycaps. I put on a set of Macha caps and they look great with the green finish.
Cons
  • I really want to fully lube the switches -- I think it would really help the ping an the overall tinny sound of the keyboard.
  • The spacebar was a little bent. Not a big deal because it is a refurb and I changed the keys anyway.
Overall, I think it's a good deal and I'd recommend.

Can’t fault this refurb
first mechanical keyboard and it has a satisfying click. Will take some getting used to after years of laptop keyboard experience but I am very happy with this

Pros
  • Excellent feeling keycaps & clean font
  • Good switch options
  • Very proffesional and clean look
  • Warm white backlighting (I actually really like the color of the led's since I hate cold light when it's dark)
  • Good build quality
  • Keyboard is completely flat which makes it pretty ergonomic. It's a tiny bit high but I don't mind since I don't use wrist rests and just type with my wrists floating
  • Very flexable and good feeling cable for what it's worth. For people who don't care about custom cables this is a great inclusion. Good lenght as well.
  • Simple and non plastic packaging with protective foam
Cons
  • Horrible sounding stabilizers, they weren't lying. After some lube they're tolerable but not as good as other stock stabs. They feel allright though and they're definitely better than the stabs on old Corsair boards.
  • Some minor paint job mistakes and keycaps that let through too much light
  • Rubber feet don't grip, might as well not be there
  • Weight & ecological footprint, I prefer a pure plastic build with no aluminum. The high weight may also increase shipping prices.
  • Acoustics, pretty loud stock. Definitely the best in this pricerange though, this wipes the floor with my old Corsair K70 which was obnoxious.
Extra: If you don't live in the US please know that you have to pay a massive import fee ( 25 euro for me) don't be fooled. Also DHL didn't deliver the package to my home, instead they gave it to another delivery service when it arrived in my country and they sent it to a nearby pickup point which was not what I paid for...

Not bad for the price
The refurbished model came with a warning of squeaky stabilizers. Mine didn't squeak, but rattled like a box of rocks. Some dielectric grease took care of it. But, be warned, while a decent board, it'll be tough to make it sound decent. But if you just need a solid TKL board, you can't beat it for $60

Solid, well built as good as new
I have the green keyboard with halo true switches. It's incredibly sturdy, not too loud and very pleasant when typing. Refurb was a good choice for me as my first mechanical keyboard - my experience has been limited to occasionally using a RedDragon with Cherry Blues. The build quality of the ENTR is much higher, the switches feel a little firmer, and obviously don't have the click sensation, but are much quieter, though far from silent. I switched from a Perixx wireless keyboard and mouse, the only "learning" curve I'm experiencing is due to the height of the keyboard - I need to get a wrist rest to raise my hands off the table.

Excellent intro into Mech Keys
I was looking for a budget intro into a Mech Keys keyboard and stumbled on this refurbished one. It didn't disappoint and I look forward to customizing one in the future

Great deal!
Great deal on a keyboard. Really liking the layout and the shine through PBT keycaps. Mine also does NOT have the squeezing space bar issue mentioned. As mentioned LEDs are slightly yellow but not a deal breaker for me. Would recommend to anyone if this becomes available again.
