Product Description
This Refurbished Sale is for pre-production Drop ENTR Mechanical Keyboards that exhibit a specific issue. For more information, please refer to the Refurbished Details & Guidelines below.
I own 3 of these keyboards 2 of which were bought new, and work fine.
However, the most recent 1 I bought refurbished. I received one with broken switches. When contacting support they want you to fix it yourself. Which tells me they don't bother to do a quality check, and are willing to sell you knowingly damaged goods.
This is a low-profile keyboard and a decent starter option with limited room for mods. However, it’s not worth the full “sale” price:
• The sound is hollow. A tape mod helps, but there’s not enough space for a proper foam mod.
• My unit came with no lube on the stabilizers, and lubing them requires desoldering the corresponding switches.
• The switches have noticeable spring ping, which also requires desoldering all the switches to fix.
Only buy this keyboard on sale with a coupon that brings the price down by at least 50%. It’s definitely not worth the full $100 price, but for $25, it’s an absolute steal.
I can recreate the written issue about the keyboard (with difficulty and very purposeful key-pressing), but keyboard was very good, feels solid, keys work just fine.
Only problem is that the legend on doubleshot keycaps are not PERFECT, but just ok. Asymmetric light seepage.
Bought them for my staff as the standard equipment is rubbish. Everyone likes them. No issues reported at all on 2 I bought. Really nice keyboards, study, subtle lighting. Highly recommended especially at the discounted price!
It’s not bad at all for the price halo trues are alright but not the best tactile I’ve had the green looks great on the keyboard though and if it was hot swap I would definitely be using it more
i know it’s a refurbished board. And the only thing wrong should be the space bar. But. The switches in this board are subpar. Loud springy noise with each keystroke. Each switch on the right half has more resistance than the left. Buyer beware. If you need a razer grade keyboard for 50$ then get it.
