randomfrankp recently put out a YouTube video that featured this headset with Brian from BadSeed Tech. According to them, the only difference is the color and branding. Other than that, they are identical.

Are these headphones open or closed back? They look open back on the outside, but on image 8 now I can't tell.

Quick rundown with my living room setup. Schiit stack magnius and modius. HD58x XLR cable with the modmic wireless. Optical cable connected to my LG CX. Now would this headset be worth getting compared to my current headset/setup? And will the mic work with the PS5 and series S? I feel like I’ll still have to use my modmic which is really not a big deal but the 38x mic would just be in the away

The mic will work with anything, it's a normal gaming headset. Secondly, the only way to know if it's worth trying is to test it out. It definitely has a wider soundstage than the HD58x if you care about that. Lastly, don't listen to Michnig, the HD560s is great but doesn't have any bass which is very important for immersion in single player games. At the end of the day, the only way to know what you prefer is to test it out.
