Best headset I've owned, and I have over a dozen top headsets and audiophile headphones
I own over a dozen top audiophile headphones, including some top rated headsets. I love the PC37x, own two pair, and have bought pairs for friends/family because they are just 'that good'.
Enter the PC38x. These are a true step up in both mic quality and music listening experience. The fabric stock pads are as comfortable as the velour on the PC37x, and they additionally include a velour set in case you wanted that feel.
I am amazed at the quality and performance:
-Crystal clear vocals
-More bass response which makes music more enjoyable; with the PC37x, they were OK for folk and music genres that don't trend towards the bass, but with these, even rap/R&B/electronic music is enjoyable
-Same amazing comfort
-We will see over time if I get that 'creaking' sound I got with the PC37x after about a year of daily wearing
