I don't enjoy sounding so vain but I just cant get over the yellow... I know its not that bad. It sounds like the perfect headset and if it had black or grey accents I probably wouldn't think twice about getting it. But I am now and its really just because of the color...

lha_lukeI feel you but you don't see it when it's on your head. Unless you're streamer and that self conscious about how people perceive the color your wearing I wouldn't care about it.

NaedtraxxI think at least for me I don't care about what other people think but I want something to look nice for myself. Otherwise everyone would just wear garbage bag all day and fashion industry doesn't need to exist. And all the products wouldn't need to have colour options they should just all be black if there's no point.
I do however agree there is a balance though, you can't have too much on the extreme of the spectrum. Need a nice balance in the middle.
Though maybe the disappointing part for me is that this could've easily been so much better if it was white or black and will cost Drop no difference in production cost. Now if you read the comments 80% are complaints about colours so I'd imagine they could've had even better sales (granted they did sell 1000 units in one day LOL).

HydeI'm not saying you're wrong in thinking the way you do. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What I will say is when you have it on you can't see it so you're caring about how it looks on you even tho you can't see it while you also mentioned you don't care what people think lol.
Ive mentioned before a black on black or black and white would have been a better color scheme but I don't mind the yellow. It's much more muted than most people think. I do believe most people who bought them are going to love them anyway. They sold out less than 24h in.

HydeYeah I get ya, and there's nothing wrong with not liking something provided you're not letting others opinions sway yours, which happens ALOT with cosmetic stuff.
I have a feeling someone will find a way to pop the yellow stuff out of the cups, and everyone will be able to pick their own colors

JayVee21Totally true. Bit I do enjoy having all my components at my desk match. Also, I personally do a lot of zoom and video calls for work and I just think black would be a little more professional. And yes I know its pretty subtle on the zoom screenshots, I just think it would look better black.

Not to bash people who like yellow on headset. If Drop's is like we gonna make a headset appeal to people who like yellow, I'll be like all the powers to you. Go for it! But if Drop is like we want to sell as many of this as humanly possible then it's definitely the wrong move.
It's like pink cars, there are people out there who buy pink cars. But I'd imagine silver/white/black cars would be more popular. Also "when you're driving and you can't see the car's exterior color" probably isn't a very good argument.
Let's just wait for people to come up with their own modding guide on how to make it un-yellow LOL.

My DC Aeon2 Open vs Meze 109 Pro's?
I've been eyeing the Meze 109 Pro's now for a while & have done research comparing my current daily driver the Dan Clark Aeon 2 Open (not the Noire version), which I love! Would like to get opinions on whether it's even worth it to pull the trigger on the 109's or am I really just getting what I already have? From what I gather so far, the 109's are going to just be "slightly" better but would love to get some honest opinions from those who either have both or who have tried both or maybe you're very good at understanding the numbers for both & can provide some insight?
