Received my Gent Select with Rosewood Scales this morning and all I can say is WOW! It far exceeded my expectations for a knife in this price range. The perfectly centered stonewashed blade is a perfect match for the titanium sides, the stonewashed finish is much nicer looking than any other stonewashed blade I have seen. Shaving sharp right out of the box! The 3” blade looks and feels much larger than most 3” knives and the handle is very comfortable in my hand. Flipping action is as fast and smooth as most switchblades of similar size, tried it about 25 times and a perfect lock-up every time. In fact it even snaps like a switchblade. A darker than average rosewood showing a slight titanium edge around it makes for a well finished knife. The blade, titanium sides and wood scales all have a satin finish, this a gorgeous knife IMO. The pocket clip is deep conceal but also very trim like an ink pen clip, this seems to be in keeping with the Gentleman’s Knife concept making it far less conspicuous. I would suggest having the clip match the stonewashed blade and titanium. Some might not like the smaller clip but aftermarket clips are readily available at Pop’s for around $30 and this knife would still a great value at $150. The flipper lever is not too large and everything is nicely rounded off and very smooth so no problem with snagging. This is the perfect 3” gentleman’s EDC I have been looking over 3 years for!
