That's a good solution when it works. We're certainly aware of this desire from left-handed members, or just people who like to carry in a left pocket; we see roughly the same discussion play out in every drop for a knife that is righty-only. Knives that we have made lefty/ambi/reversible so far include: Falcon, Crux, Gent, Buc, Dao, Dogtooth, Keen, Thresher, and Perpetua. Considerations include: extra holes that 85% of people don't want on the 'show' side of their handles, minimum order quantities, cost and complexity of manufacturing, and the complexity of ordering and stocking 2x the number of SKUs. While it is true that, when we offer them we see 15% of sales left-handed, it is also true that many knife nuts who happen to be lefty learn to get comfortable using their right hand for them because they don't want to be limited in this way and buy the righty version anyway - so it's not necessarily +15% in sales. However, I do think if the whole knife world knew that Massdrop was the place where they could choose from any model in left-hand version, we might even see more than 15% - hard sayin not knowin. As we continue to grow, I expect that minimum orders will become less of an issue, so you can expect to see more in the future - maybe even on the Mordax.
