I bought my 2!
Now the worst part, waiting (I'm not great at that). I probably overlooked it, but when are these due to ship?
And I'm glad that I didn't unsubscribe from Massdrop. I was getting a little disenchanted with all of the chinese knives being offered.
There a many Chinese knives that are excellent. I have a WE, two Kizers, a couple of Bestechs, an Artisan Cutlery, and I'm sure others. They are all good to excellent. My Taiwan Spyies are fine. I also have some bargain basement Chinese that are fair to middlin'. I'm all for buying American if it is what I want, if it is well made, and if it is priced competitively. My favorite kitchen knife is Japanese. The label Made in America is not, by itself, an inducement to buy. Neither is the label Made in Chine, an inducement not to buy. I am very greateful to folks like Nick, LTK, and NF for their reviews. Being fairly new to this addiction, I take every opportunity to learn. Tonight, I'll be carrying Chinese and eating American. (Pizza is American, isn't it?) I hope that you enjoy these. Please let us know how they are when you have had a chance to fiddle with them.
I have no need, nor want, to give the chinese government any more money than they're already getting. Chinese made products will always have my lowest consideration when purchases are made (and I always check where a product is made before buying). I'll be sure to post when I get the Mordax's (Mordaxi? Mordacies?) I'm really jazzed!
That's great. I am looking forward to hearing from you. I may wind up regretting not getting in on this one. I really do like the blue handle in the picture. I would probably be tempted to get a knife with that handle, even if it was in FRN. About the pluralization. Maybe it's like fax and tax and relax. You could always lapse into Souther and say, "I'm fixin' to git me a couple o' them suckers." In closing, if I am making a purchase and most things are close, I will buy American. I'm proud (and very fortunate) to be one.
Any chance you would sell me one of your massdrop x ferrum forge button lock flippers? I'll pay a premium for it.
I'm sorry, both are spoken for. One for me, and one for my Dad.
I hope that you're able to locate one soon!
