perfect timing on these. got to use them (and my new Klymit pad) on a quick two-nighter in Desolation. They are perfect. Exactly what I hoped for. Super minimalist, yet...what more could one want? I was surprised at how the weight savings helped over the old standby Super Makalu's that are the only poles I've yet to not destroy. I really like the strap material; though it does not seem that sturdy compared to what I've had on other poles, it's much more comfortable and I expect that will make a big difference on long trips. I do hope that strap replacements will be available should the need arise. Hoorah for the big basket! Good job, Massdrop.
