Was able to create a lightbox and take some better shots with the camera from work to accompany my review: Very basic mods done to the baffle plate. 6/8 of the port vents are "closed" to help increase the perception of tight, better extended bass (helps tame boominess) and the tape over the driver is a spin on the MrSpeakers "doggie treat" mods that comes in various flavors (helps tame sibilance/highs depending on configuration). Just using masking tape for now to see how much I like the changes before moving to more permanent felts of varying thickness and experimenting further to dial it in.

This is the stock damping for the T-X0 per Drop. I've use the other provided tuning foam back here as well (not shown in pics) for the effect of taming that mid bass hump and tightening up the lows as we try to get towards a more linear response in the lows and mids. Too much damping here will really hurt the low end response so don't go too crazy here.

Stock driver/housing/filter paper and rear baffle plate. No mods done here and probably won't make any changes to the driver filter paper.

Here is where you would load the baffles with various types of putty if one chooses. I won't be doing any mods here either as I feel I have enough damping with the added tuning foam behind the driver.

I have some other shots but feel these should cover the internals enough for those curious. Let me know if y'all want any other shots of anything and I'll drop them here.

jaydunndidditIs the plastic brittle? Can see that one of the screw mounts already looks somewhat abraded...

serweiNot brittle really, but if you constantly keep taking the screws out to adjust things you will strip the threads.

serweiNot at all. I think it's just residue as I make sure not to overtighten anything since this is plastic. As old as this headphone is and all that folks do to them, I have never heard of anyone having issues with the screws or plastic. The headphone jack or drivers will give out before that happens from my experience.

SunkizThe T-X0 II. I have a review sample and this is just some of the tweaks I've been doing (that I snapped shots of, anyhow). Gonna try some other stuff this weekend once I hit up a hobby shop.

SunkizHa, yeah, sorry about that. Was just dropping the "II" to save a few keystrokes.
