We are elated to announce the launch of the Gareth Bull Miura Front Flipper Knife. It's our first time working with Gareth and our first front flipper collab. It's certainly a gentleman's knife that has lots of clean style, built solid at We Knife with the best materials one can find. We look forward to putting lots of these in people's pockets.

"It is plain that the DNC, if they win the election, hope to govern in the style of Trump -- take out the authoritarianism for a spin, see what they can do with it. They've seen him breaking all the rules but haven't yet seen him reap the consequences, and he appeals to their inner rebel so they're all still very much 'monkey see monkey do'." Couldn't agree more, Harris and Biden are clearly tight wingers to me. Like, obviously, relatively far right even considering the existence of the GOP. They are Bush/Cheney Democrats rather than LITERALLY TRUMP and laughably think that's going to be enough to usher in a massive landslide victory. I don't think it will at all. I think they're going to struggle much more than their idiot grifter media/consultant class advisers think. I'm not sure how it will play out, but all I see from them is floundering and further appeals to their self-awarded authority. You can see their authoritarian tendencies at almost every turn. The way they ran the 2016 and 2020 primaries combined with their openly left-punching party dogma from the Third Way faction and their ideological contemporaries for these years is almost a dare to try removing them from power. And for the DNC to just talk about what, gun control for the platform? The one policy goal that leftists and libs tend to be very opposed on, which from the authoritarian Dems is usually draconian and arbitrary in form, and which is guaranteed to bring out opposition voters by the busload. I doubt all of them talk to pollsters but I bet that gun control has the most single issue voters in the US. Mostly against it. They are trying to lose, then blame left voters again and maybe use it to tighten up politically and legally, kind of exactly like they've been doing.

Right. They would rather lose in this fashion than win with a more progressive platform that would cost their donors serious money. They alienated their traditional base and their opponent is going to keep rubbing everyone's nose in it until the election, wherein the left will be blamed for Biden's loss. They want four more years of tax cuts and deregulation and privatization of government, they just don't want to be blamed for the consequences.

Gareth Bull is a knifemaker who has let his fame get the best of him, don't support this drop.

Disappointed that Gareth Bull stole design of ATCF from Bob Terzuola, then says he got permission to use said design as inspiration. Nothing inspired about outright theft. Par for the course for We Knives, they used to make OEM copies of popular knives all the time. 狗改不了吃屎

@john.webb Do you have a breakdown of how many people went in on the Rosewood model, and how many people went in on the Carbon Fiber model?

I have a couple of front flippers, but I’d say the one I fumble with the most is the Isham Abstruse. It’s small with a skinny 3.6” handle. I’m going to go for this Miura because the handle is longer and thicker and it looks too good to pass on.

Well...with just hours to spare I bought the CF Miura! No will power! It just looks too cool to pass on! It was tough to choose between the CF and Rosewood.

I’m not hating here just sharing an opinion. From what I understand if it’s a bull made knife it probably won’t deliver on time. At this price point though I’m sure it’s a production not custom. But what the hell I’m in.

Why are so many of you arguing like little school girls? SR blah blah is better than M blah blah. I don’t get it. I bet most don’t even tax the knife blade enough to tell a true difference in the steel. Urban warrior? Opening letters? Cutting the occasional string or rope? Carving initials into a tree(or school desk if people still do that)? If kept sharpened properly any steel will handle those tasks. If being used as a paramedic tool, for military, gutting/cleaning deer, fowl, squirrel, fish, etc then yes, steel matters.

Inspired by the Legend? Have you ever brought this to the Legend himself? As what I knew, Bob has never signed off this design. Anyone wants to chime in?

Wow. That's really good to know. I wasn't planning on buying one because of Gareth Bull's reputation, but this makes me lose even more faith in Drop.

Don't lose faith in drop; lose faith in Gareth/the Bulls. I'm sure Drop just tried working with the info the Bulls gave them - after all, you're not going to question the validity of those kinds of claims given the maker, success, etc. unless it's painfully obvious from the get go. I think Drop is doing the best they can damage-control wise in terms of keeping the drop/relationship going while not espousing false info. It's a shame they were lied to, but I'm 100% not surprised given Gareth's history.

No, not legit at all, the first Bob knew about it was when the advertising mail was pointed out to him by a friend.

With pre-orders, does your card get charged when it ships? Or do you get charged up front? I've read the complaints, but that is damn nice looking knife I'd love to EDC. However, I don't want to wait till next year for it if I'm paying today. Can anyone help me out?

It IS kinda funny for people to see the candidate with the most billionaire donors as a 'marxist'. But then again a lot of them can't tell you a difference between a Marxist, a communist, a socialist, a Leninist, a Stalinist, a Maoist, a liberal, a leftist, an anarchist or a Trotskyite. They just indiscriminately call anyone they think is on the left any of these titles interchangeably. Then you get the idiots who think they're as good as a sovereign country, and anyone authoritarian is equivalent to a Marxist. The funny thing is they love their own strains of authoritarianism, they just never think of it as that. More like 'just common sense', they call it amongst each other in their echo chambers. They've spent their adult years painting their portrait of the opposition and now they only look at their portrait, never the actual people, so of course it doesn't much matter that they're missing some big things. They think they figured this all out years ago, you understand, and sometimes they have to belabor that to you because they have a chip on their shoulder about being thought stupid because they're reactionaries. The rest of us just see them playing with their political doll house that they built out of their diet of propaganda like this and as you noted, it's not a flattering look. But I don't think they tend to grasp that. There's something about all this that never really stops being funny though, honestly: most people on the left see Harris, this woman that right wingers seethe about like you've just seen, as a corporate centrist if not a right winger. The right wing is sitting here shrieking about how Harris is going to lead people to the left and 9/10ths of it is the color of her skin, and most of the left are like sitting here going 'sheeeit, if only it were so'. If you're conservative and white as a lily Harris looks black and so everyone assumes she's the thin edge of some kinda racial wedge. But that's their fear talking. When you look at her record Harris is more of a right winger than Biden -- and Biden is a right winger. Biden gave us the crime bill that massively increased incarceration in America, and the bankruptcy bill that gave an out to everyone but people with student loan debt. He's got loads of charisma and he's always been good at getting liberals on board but when you look closely, dude's a conservative who plays to that part of the Democrat base that has racial angst about minorities, and it's just as much a grift as what Harris does. It is plain that the DNC, if they win the election, hope to govern in the style of Trump -- take out the authoritarianism for a spin, see what they can do with it. They've seen him breaking all the rules but haven't yet seen him reap the consequences, and he appeals to their inner rebel so they're all still very much 'monkey see monkey do'. If they were down for moving the US government to the left at ALL, let alone to some kind of collectivism.... they wouldn't have done everything they could to shut down Sanders, including rewriting their own rules on the fly to deny him votes. Nah, the DNC will make some noise about looking at things like the GND and M4A but their donors won't let them do any more than dismiss them as 'misguided'. For all intents and purposes they appear to be running on one platform plank: they aren't Trump. But the people running the campaign are the same ones that decided to back Trump halfway through the 2016 GOP primary once it became plain he had momentum. It's the same billionaires plus or minus a couple and they're fooling the same low-information TV-watching drones that Trump did.
