LOL check it out, no longer a DROP exclusive, the soda and coffee are being sold on Ashford, Glycine's main vendor in the US< look for normal prices coming soon! And look for Drop to leave the business with their tails between their legs, between this and the totally failed, amateurish 'field' watch that looks like the dial was stamped at a pepsi can factory. Please drop, don't make any more downgrade watches. Seriously who would take a watch that comes with a milled clasp, swap it to a stamped one, and send people watches that had their warranty cards stamped back in August of 2020 when Drop received them from Ashford in the first place, and call them exclusives. More like ex-'screw'-sives ha. ha. ha. Typically the prices at Ashford are high now to support the drop, but if history proves correct, eventually they will come down on a sale to better prices than you'll ever see here.... of course the soda did sell for 275 which is basically the lowest price seen on a combat sub,,,,,but then again it is a downgrade. Will be interesting to see what the pricing does at Ashford either way, I guess they felt Drop couldn't do the job of getting these things sold, so no longer an exclusive. https://www.ashford.com/glycine/gl0302.html

Glen8I would expect an explanation for this from DROP! Many of us even lent DROP our money for 1 year for these "DROP exclusive" models ...

If they dropped the price on this one, like they did on the Soda version. I would definitely pull the trigger. Like this color combination better.

If anyone is interested , I had a 21mm ' Oyster ' from Strapcode lying around and thought ??? Hmm why not ,, I had a bit of a measure up and both the Strapcode and Glycine bracelets are 20mm at the clasp ,, good start for sure .
search
The bracelets are almost a perfect match for each other looks and build wise except ??? .. ... the Glycine has 1.3mm holes for the push-pin's and the strapcode 1.5mm screw-pins ,,, What the hell ! drill the Glycine's last link out to 1.5mm and fit the strapcode's first link onto the Glycine bracelet ,,, perfect ! Look carefully here and you can see the strapcode screw-link . The brushing , build and size of each is perfect !
search
I put the Glycine's clasp back onto the strapcode bracelet so its a spare for some other day ,,,

From $275 last time to now $400? Guaranteed cheaper on ebay/Amazon from someone selling theirs. Thanks 'Drop'...

JayDay The "Soda" version which I just bought a few days ago was still priced at $275. It sold out FAST once it became available again. The "Coffee" version is $399. I like that one a little more, but I have not seen it drop to $275- unless I missed it. For whatever reason Drop had linked both of these together on reviews and comments.

Wow it really sucks that these have a downgraded, stamped clasp, instead of the standard combat sub milled clasp. sending mine back, also the end link and first link are unprotected in shipping, and like normal Glycine combat subs, when you get them from Ashford, the first link and end link almost always have scuff marks on them, from rattling around loose in the box (rarely do they bother to actually put them on the pillow, much less secure it to it) Anyway, a real bummer that they downgraded an important part, and also a bummer to receive it with scuffs on it. If you want one let me know before I return mine.

Yes, there is no hurry, I hope !!! The condition I have added to my other two "unseen" medical potential life threatening issues , is yet another invisible killer except this time I feel like a "Spartan", as there are only about 300 people in the country with it. It is extremely rare, I suppose like the LE Ingersoll, 93 of 300!!! Little but of "Karma" there!! I do like a little bit of uniqueness. I believe the Raymond Weil with original calf strap and fitted sports bracelet was $900, and the Ingersoll $350 plus post; because there may be different post options. The pick of this bunch though really is the fully Swiss made Panzera Breuer 43, $800, with the valjoux standard 7750 in it and the four strap option; maybe one of your friends maybe interested!! The movement in the RW is also a valjoux 7750 with in house adjustments! Not sure what but the standard has a power reserve of 42 hours and the RW in house movement 46 hours. The Ingersoll I believe is a 29 jewel seagull Ty movement with about 36 hours reserve, but in that respect the Seiko Alpinist blows them all away with a claimed 70 hours from it's 6R36 movement!! And that is a steal at $450 with the great straps I attached. I must admit taking more photos of these watches makes me a little "melancholy" as although I never really got to wear them ,except a few occasions here and there I can remember the reason I bought them: but such is life ,I would like them to go to someone who appreciates them. I have sent emails, did they get through JAone
