YammMother of god, here we go again! Spare us another four pages of:
"OMG it's another 42mm ginormous watch that ate Cincinnati drop--run, run for your lives" and,
"If I were to put anything larger than a 38 on my delicate little four-and-three/quarter wrist--well I'm just positive my entire forearm would be ripped from my elbow and I'd bleed to death"
kinds of comments, pah--lease!!!

ChaospuzzlerI wish I could, but not in this configuration/color way.
I already have a decent GMT, so if I were to be tempted by any of these, it would probably be the straight Combat Sub in the Coffee color way. I kind of like it's somewhat understated/subdued look.

RayFYeah same Problem: i have a perfect airman gmt, so i do not need another one, but what ticks me off the non gmt is that the color scheme makes no sense since it is just a regular dive bezel... Who thought of this? Just make it a proper two toned dive bezel or a second time zone gmt bezel with a 24h sweep hand but this is something strange inbetween...

RayFIt's an interesting question for sure, and it's come up a couple times in past discussions.
I'm not so convinced that there's ever been some kind of orthodoxy around how to split the colorway for a diver bezel for a watch lacking a GMT function. If it turns out there ever is, I hope the penance is mild. For what its worth, if you're already demarcating the 15 minute count with extra tracks, might then highlighting it with another color possibly become a little redundant? Whereas by dividing the bezel into AM/PM through color, you might extend the ways in which the bezel can be used. My personal opinion anyway.

leopadronI recall, when I was a kid, adults were unanimous in their warnings of the dire consequences that awaited any child who went back in the pool, without having waited the required 30 minutes after having eaten so much as a single potato chip. Of course, even an eight year old knew that story was bunk-o! Still, you might be able to hijack that old wives tale and cobble it into some sort of function divers might utilize that bezel for?
