The description says it uses a 26 jewel movement but the GL 224 is a 25 jewel movement based on the ETA 2824-2. Is there something different about this one or is the description wrong?
DustinDIt can get a little confusing so to clarify, the calibre designation for this Combat Sub is confirmed as the GL 224 and the description is accurate. The ebauche for the GL 224 has changed recently and now has 26 (versus 25) jewels. As the 2824-2 is 25 jewels, Glycine is no longer sourcing their ebauches from ETA.

leopadronI appreciate the response! After researching a little more it looks like they're using a Sellita ebauche for this one. Nothing wrong with that. I had to buy it either way, too good to pass up.

DustinDadded additional jewel for "reliability", I'm no watchmaker so from what I've read so I don't know which part it was supposed to make it more supportive.
