  • Can somebody say why this watch has "Bezel: Aluminum"? Isn't considered that aluminium will scratch way easier than stainless steel? Some go with Ceramic bezels but this versions has Aluminium...

Woot-ZeeCeramic bezels cost more to produce and for two colors the issue of the border of the two colors blending properly adds to the cost. The bezel can be popped out and replaced rather easily. I did this to my Pepsi bezel on my Steinhart and turned it into a Coke bezel instead.

SeaCaptain6Yeah, my issue was that is not stainless steel like the rest of the case. It is made by (imho) inferior material... not asking for ceramic, but not Al also. :D

Woot-Zeefrom the 1960s until the mid-2000s, Rolex, Omega, and many other diving watch specialist brands used aluminum bezel inserts. They’re light, inexpensive to produce, paint adheres well to them, etc. Steel bezels are out there, but they’re not that common and don’t really add any useful value.

Woot-ZeePretty sure they’re talking only about the insert. Pre ceramic rolexes used aluminum inserts as well.

Woot-ZeeCeramic is more expensive, looks neat, of course. But, easier to crack. Personally, I prefer Aluminium's.
