LifunGranted it's got a GMT bezel, but without any GMT functionality, it's about as much use as tits on a boar. It would be better with a 12 hour bezel where at least you could use it as a dual-timer.
Glen8Either you are trolling or you truly don't understand the difference in functionality between a 3 hand 12 hour movement with a 12 hour bezel to give dual time 12 hour functionality and a common GMT setup with a 4th hand running in 24 hour time and referencing either a fixed 24 hour bezel or 24 hour scale on the dial giving a second timezone in 24 hour time or less common, a moveable 24 hour bezel and 24 hour scale on the dial which gives 3 timezones - one in 12 hour time and 2 in 24 hour time.
Simples!
Mouse8459I don't know what the hell you're talking about dude, or why you're directing it at me, I was responding to the post with the Massey Tissot with a 24 hour bezel and no GMT hand. If anyone's trolling it's you, I like this watch here, the drop, not that I should need to splain that to anyone Thanks for the lesson though smart guy
RayFI only stated this in relation the glycine being offered. It is a true dive watch and the entire discussion is debating the 50/50 color split. Whether anyone uses to actually dive is completely besides the fact that it has the features that make it a viable dive watch. I have chronographs that I never timed anything with and I doubt many people these days really track a separate time zone on their GMT watch. The point is that these watches CAN do these things and make them more intriguing and valuable. The Mathey Tissot that was mentioned is a ridiculous watch IMO. It has a 24 hour bezel with no 24 hour hand. That bezel only offers to confuse anyone that actually tries to use it.
TinygearheadSpending more than fifty bucks for a watch confuses a lot of people these days. Actually, these days, a lot of people are confused about why anyone would bother to wear a watch.
But that's not us, we know why we want the watches we want, right comrade?!
