Hi Folks,
I have a LCX+SDAC, how does the implementation of the SDAC in that model compare with this and cabling this into the LCX?

TsiklonThe SDAC in the LCX is a single-ended use of the AKM AK4452, and passes through a phase-splitter upon entering the amp portion of the unit. The same as if you used the RCA input on the AMP.
This balanced SDAC is is more or less fully balanced (differential) output from the single AKM AK4452 DAC.
The main difference other than differential out that I can see (from product specs) is the AKM AK4452 in the LCX+SDAC is configured in a USB 1 mode; just like this balanced DAC with the switch set to USB 1. When enabled in USB 2 mode the balanced DAC is able to render higher resolution files (384kHz vs 96kHz).
