Okay switch, but incredibly tactile in a different housing
On its own, the Halo Clear is just an okay switch. It has moderate tactility, it isn't fatiguing, and it's great for SMD lighting. Where it shines is when you swap the stem into another housing. Most people swap it into a Yok or BSUN Panda...or for the lucky few, an Invyr Panda housing to make a Holy Panda.
What most people don't know is that there's an even more readily available switch that, IMO, makes an even better donor housing, the Koala/T1. Swap the Halo stem into the Koala/T1 housing and you've got an incredibly pleasant tactile switch with minimal wobble and no crunch that, in my opinion, outshines the Holy Panda in terms of feel.
The only reason this doesn't get a 5 star is because it's expensive to buy a switch just to have it give a donor stem. The switch as a whole is nothing special in my opinion, but if you like a very smooth minimalist bump, it may be great for you.
