Pretty good value and has a place in my collection ;)
I'm in the "early phases" of the audiophile addiction and began with Koss PortaPro's and KSC75s (modded in various ways). I no longer remember the order, but there seems to be a theme (sort of) to what I buy; Budget friendly audiophile gear.
I also have the Philips SHP9500's, Koss KPH30i's, Koss KDE-250 and an assortment of IEMs and earbuds (Tin T2's, Blon BL03's, KZ ATE's, KZ ZSN's, RY4s Plus + 300 ohms, VE Monks (SPC editions) and VE Bonus IE's).
I run all this stuff of a Cambridge Audio DacMagic Plus paired with a FiiO K5 Pro and a Loxjie P20 when at the desk or a FiiO BRT5 when not.
So why am I listing all my gear? To give You an idea of where I'm at and to tell You that from where I stand (or sit) these things are a really nice addition and I listen a lot to them.
If You want a description of how they sound it's been covered by many others and I'm not good at that, but I can tell You that to me they're good allround headphones (nice comfort, good sounding in most genres, cheap enough) and they spend more time on my ears than the SHP9500's which, while very bright and clear/clean sounding, seem a bit "borring" to me in most genres.
Would recommend to a friend.
