Why’s it gotta be a DD driver? Is there a closed back planar out there that isn’t 500$? And why would Hifiman be playing with dynamics anyway? It’s not like they’re known for it or anything… I’m just gonna end up buying a used pair of Audeze’s and call it quits…

The original Audeze Sine is superb and can be had for okay money in used condition if you look around!

AteamBeamModhouse Argon MKiii are pretty much closed back headphones. That are under the $300 mark. I will be debating between Balanced Modhouse Argons MKIII with protein pads and balance cable which are just under $500 and RD7DX. I know these can be completely different beasts but if RD7DX are tuned to have more bass and be more fun as a headphone I will consider these over the Modhouse Argons MkIII.

lrjshabazLol since I posted this comment, I’ve got my sights on the 1060C’s, I have the 5XX, and Timeless, I keep wearing my Timeless’s so I can remind myself why I don’t need anymore headphones dang it!

allsmilesbI've had a lot of headphones... But making a pair of Open Alpha's was fun and after tuning the foam they've easily become my favorite headphones. Highly recommend.

Zephid15The Modhouse Argon 60rp are ones I want to get. I feel my next headphone is the Sundara.
