I've come from using the Bose QC35 and I've loved them using around town, at work and when travelling. BUT, when I'm home, ever since purchasing the HIFIMAN HE4XX, I put these on and get carried away to a different world entirely. Planar Magnetic Headphones are completely a step up. These have a fairly flat signature and are just another world of responsiveness. These sound fine on devices that can push the power (some smaller devices like phones may not work too well), but BUY A DAC and it's completely next level. You'll literally find out what you've been missing out on. Again, very surprising detail!
