I was excited to try them. Ok for the price. Build quality as expected for price. No QC issues. Not bad. Tested them on iPad, iPhone and a Bryston BP17 cubed. They handles sound on each well enough. nothing spectacular. Very coarse, with terribly poor definition, though the most “musical” cans I have. Noticeable “V” shape, despite what anyone says. My preference is flat and analytical. The pair I received was neither. I know it’s a subjective thing, so spare me the comments. This is my subjective opinion. 3 stars is getting what you are paying for, so this is not a “negative review”, more neutral than anything. For$40 or so more you can get headphones that are markedly better from my viewpoint. I was somewhat disappointed because of the hype, and could not understand all the glowingly positive reviews. I gave them away because I never used them. My HD650s, AKGs, ATH MSR7s, and Fostex are leaps and bounds better to my ears, and we’re always chosen over these. These cans are “fun”, and worth a try, but be wary if your preferences are closer to mine.
