What about shipping internationally? its a F*** to eu?
Consider yourself lucky these are gonna be terrible if they were 400I drivers they would tell us the info not hide behind hifiman these are probably 400s drivers or even worse and anyway the 400I imo was crap it didn't have any good extension in the highs (like almost all planars) and unlike most planars there isn't any extension in the bass either look up the 400I on eBay there's a ton for sale and they just sit or sell extremely cheap
The 400S are better than the 400i to my ears - with my gear (4 digits+) the S scaled quite highly, almost as high as the 500s/560s whilst the 400i was stale and boring.
There is no argument you can possibly make that'd shine a bad light on the 400S, they're great price:performance ratio (especially with their discounts as those pop up frequently), they're comfortable (although their build quality is spotty), easy to drive and a good all-rounder for most types/genres of music.
That said, and as stated in one of my comments above, I do agree it seems shady to not divulge the driver.
Still, even if you got re-skinned 400S for 150 bucks that's a steal regardless of whether or not you like it/them.
Maybe so I never heard the s I bought the 400I new from hifiman and thought they were garbage there was no bass no treble extension and I wrote a comment above about it being shady that they "can't divulge information" I don't believe them but yea the 400I turned me off to planar headphones all together
Well, I'm listening to the HE560 right now and there's definitely no extension missing in the highs on them.
It really doesn't seem as if you have much to contribute with and you obviously don't plan to get these so maybe you should go outside instead of trolling in here.
@WillYou really should consider to add some kind of option so that we can block users which posts we don't like to see. I believe that posters like the one quoted above puts many people off reading/posting on here.
