Another headphone I'm interested in. Last time, in the last minutes, I decided to cancel my order for the Fostex Planar because I had convinced myself that I didn't need another full sized to complement my HD650. And then it's HE4xx series. Saw all the things about the non-disclosure about the driver and It somehow puts me off. May be I should save some money for the Audeze Sine instead, at least that one is portable. Good luck, guys!
cheapladIf by portable you mean closed back and efficiency over 100 dB and native 3.5cm plug, there is oppa PM3 which won numerous awards months before the audeze sine (closed) was released. I was tempted to get the sine as well when they had the summer sale but pull out last minute and now a proud owner of both PM2 and PM3. One for the commute and one for using at home.
