I am confused on the frequency response for these. The second image shows a comparison between these HE-5XX vs HE-4XX vs "edition XX". In the image it says Edition XX is solid black line, and HE-5XX is blue dotted line. Yet, the solid black line is the same one from the first image that shows the HE-5XX alone. How can the two images have such an altered response?
So is the second image correct, and these headphones have a very nice frequency curve? Or is the first image correct, and the HX-5XX has a more normal HiFiMan frequency curve that is kinda sucky on the bass end?

EniGmA1987I have no idea what you're on about. The black lines on both images are identical (just shifted upwards because the 2nd graph have the curves normalized at 800Hz). I even threw them in an image editor and overlaid them to make sure.
