Quality tactiles

I love the feel of these. They come "pre lubed" but you need to re lube them by hand if you really want them to be smooth and thockey. Not a mark against them. The factory lube is way better than nothing.

Amazing feeling switches but are scratchy out of the box

These are my first tactile switches and I'm very impressed. The bump is very prominent and has a nice deep sound when properly lubed. Out of the box, mine were very scratchy and desperately needed some lubing. In the end it was worth it but if I could purchase these with a proper factory lube job, I wouldn't hesitate.

Great but requires a bit of work

The Drop Holy Panda switches have quickly become my favorite tactile switch. However, it did not start out that way. When I purchased these from Drop they claimed to be factory lubed, but when I received them they had very noticeable spring ping. That being said if you do not mind putting in the work and lubing them, then you will be left with an excellent switch that both sounds and feels amazing. I am currently using the Holy Panda switches in the Drop CSTM80 Harry Potter edition and they pair very well with the board. Overall, I would recommend these switches to those who love tactile switches and do not mind doing a little work to make them sound and feel better. Like others I did buy these on sale, so I ended up paying $30 for three packs and not the normal price of $35 per pack. If they are not on sale it becomes harder to recommend but for $10 per pack you really cannot go wrong.

They are wonderful switches, a bit pricy at 35, but on sale definitely worth it, they are a little bit too heavy for my preference, but the tactile is not too much and is an amazing sounding switch

Nice Bump, lots of spring ping

I purchased the non lubed version for $.35 ea on sale, not the $1 per switch of the suggested retail price. maybe this was a mistake, but for a product that retailed at a premium price I did not see the value in spending even more on the switch, logically something that used to cost 3-4x other switches should be pretty darn good out of the box right? The switches feel very nice, I like the prominent top loaded tactile bump and they feel nice to type on, have low stem wobble, and across my orders they seem to be consistent. That said, these are some of the spring pingiest switches I have ever used at any price point. Installing these switches on various good sounding boards makes them sound like a plastic cased buckling spring keyboard from a 1990s library. if you listen closely you can hear a microfiche machine whirring in the background. I seriously sold a board thinking it sounded like crap before I realized it was the HPX switches that sounded bad and not the boards design. My advise? Don't assume that just because it was marketed as a premium switch at one point you will be receiving a 2025/2026 quality premium product for a good price. In actuality you're receiving a mid tier switch at an upper mid tier price per unit. look, these are a nice feeling switch, but even at .35 ea there are better sounding and feeling switches on the market. If you want these switches, I highly recommend either spending more for the lubed versions, plan on lubing them yourself, or look to a different product such as an akko cilantro. From a construction perspective, they're a great switch, even playing around to make frankenswitches I appreciate the tactile leaf tension and spring weight, its clear some development went into the product, but somewhere along the line Drop themselves realized "hey, these sound terrible!" and their solution was to launch a higher tier product which addresses the deficiencies of the product instead of going back and fixing the inherent issue on the base product. I am just glad I wasnt shopping switches when these first released, I would be steaming mad if I invested over $100 in these switches to build out a full-size, at $30 im less mad, but it makes other switches (like the cilantro mentioned earlier) that much stronger of a value proposition.
