THOCC
I have finally become #TactileGang. These changed me. I didn't realize I needed that thocc in my life. The key to that signature thocky sound is the long stem pole, and whoever suggested that I might like it if I clipped that extra length off - I HATE YOU. I only did it to two :( but still. If someone has another switch I might like please let me know :)

Would recommend to a friend.

They were referring to the 2 extra legs that come on "PCB" mount switches. Where it has 2 extra plastic legs to help stabilize the switch, and then the 2 metal/copper "legs" that fit in the PCB sockets. These switches along with most switches that are sold on drop are USUALLY plate mount, since the ALT and CNTRL keyboards are plate mount and don't have the extra holes (5 total) to use PCB mount switches. Sounds like you misunderstood someone as I've never heard anyone snip off ANY stem on ANY switch for ANY reason.

Oh no, they literally meant the stems. They were specifically talking about halo stems in general not just holy pandas. Thanks though. They had heard it from a reddit thread. I tried looking it up and you can find it "halo stems - to clip or not to clip?".

Oh hahaha, my apologies. I have been in this hobby a while and have never heard this before. Crazy. Especially clipping the specific halo stems that make holy pandas....well...the nice Thocky holy panda. That sounds so counter-productive to do that. I hope that person has been down voted to oblivion on reddit unless he knows a secret that I don't know.
