On a side note, the Halo stem is a bit longer than others, so in Panda/cherry housing hits the bottom and it pings (that's why people cut the bottom of the halo stem). I suggest to precut that piece at the bottom to make our lifes easier :)
part of the appeal of these switches is the sound that is created by the longer stem.
Pretty sure everyone likes the sound of Holy Panda but not the ping, but it's fine we just cut it ourself in case.
well you said it pings because of the bottom out on the stem, which i don't believe is the case. either way, it would be better to just sell them as is, and if people want to remove the excess stem, they can
It pings slightly because the circular stem of Halos is longer than a common stem, so non-halo housing or a normal housing without an hole at the bottom touches the stem and it pings. That's it, I guess it's that way because halo was supposed to be used with kailh housing.
Probably anyone cuts the stem bottom, i definetely suggest to do it too.
it was designed longer because they wanted to emulate the sound of topre
