How would these compare to RHA T20, and Audeze iSine 10 and LX?

No, probably one of the better stock cables too. I can hardly think of a situation that might cause major damage to the cable.

Can you use a 2.5mm balanced cable with these? How comfortable are they? Thanks

You can, but they don't need much power at all and sound great out of the THX AAA 789 single-ended. They've very comfortable with the included Spiral Dots, I have no problem wearing them for extended periods.

I am comparing this against the Meze Rai Solo for the same price. I've heard lots of great on both, what should I go with?

I own both and this would be my take on the IEMs. I'd very much recommend HA-FDX1 over the Rai Solo. Rai solo has better vocal placement but in overall technical ability of the IEM HA-FDX1 is on a different class. In my honest opinion, if it's not for the design I'd say Rai Solo should be priced $120 ~ $150. On the other hand, I'd say FDX1 is the best IEM under $300 period. If you want a beautiful accessory that sounds reasonably good and has good vocals, go with the Rai Solo. If you want an IEM that gives you the best sound for the money, FDX1 is the way to go. Here's my detailed breakdown of the two IEMs. Meze Rai Solo Resolution: ★★☆☆☆ Separation: ★★★★☆ Details: ★★★☆☆ Sound Stage: ★★★☆☆ Female Vocal: ★★★★☆ Male Vocal: ★★★★☆ Dynamics: ★★★☆☆ JVC HA-FDX1 Resolution: ★★★★★ Separation: ★★★★☆ Details: ★★★★★ Sound Stage: ★★★☆☆ Female Vocal: ★★★☆☆ Male Vocal: ★★★☆☆ Dynamics: ★★★★☆ Hope this helps your decision.
