For the THD, I assume it will increase somewhat with the other filters?

What do you think which one should I buy? This or JVC HA-FW1800 IEM? Anyone any advice?

Hi, i've just got my FDX1 about 2 days ago, still in burning process. I wonder that if it really need to burn 48 hours? Will the sound change significantly? Btw, the filters seem to be changed between Green and Blue. As you see in the picture, the Blue filter is less damping than the other.

I got mine few days ago and mine is same. Green filter has more dampers than the blue one. So I was pretty confused when I compare each filter's sound because it wasn't expected that I thought. I asked to Drop but didn't get response yet.

Arrived, not much difference vs $50 AKG when streaming from the phone. What DAC+AMP combo do you recommend for these? Something $100-$400.

I am enjoying them on my FiiO BTR5. Not my favorite on other iems but has good synergy with the FDX1 for my taste. They also sound good with most of my desktop amplifiers. I have listened to them on a RME ADI 2, Liquid Platinum, thx 789 and SW51+ tube amp and they sound good.

Hi, anyone help me to compare the FDX1 with N40? Do they have the same signature (reference filter of N40 vs green (or 50% damping) filter of FDX1? I almost listen to progressive metal (dream theater, haken, tool, opeth), symphony, classical, a little bit rock and pop. So should i choose FDX1 or AKG N40 or Moondrop Blessing 2? I have not listened to FDX1 or Blessing 2. But i have a chance to test N40 and it is quite interesting with me. Thank you everyone

so I noticed today while walking my dogs that there is a SLIGHT rattle/clack when walking on one of the ear pieces (for me it is what I wear in my left ear). I figured out that it is due to the rotational shell design there is some slight wiggle/lateral movement allowed. Sometimes tapping or rotating it a bit will get it into position where that doesn't happen. Anyone else have the ability to wiggle the unit up and down from the nozzle?
Thinking of getting these for exercising with, sounds like that's a no no then? lol

I use them sometimes but with the clacking noise + weight + the not super secure over-ear wire position means they're not my preferred active iems

I recommend using the middle filter nozzle and EQing the rest of the 4 kHz peak out instead of going with the warmest filter. The middle nozzle gets the 200 Hz - 2 kHz mids spot on, and none of the nozzles get the 2-4k part right, imho. And since I'm using EQ, I add some sub-bass because I want to and the FD-X1 takes to the EQ really well.

This is exactly what I wish would be adjusted before committing to a drop costing this much. I tried and didn't like the FD02 for the same reasons

Hello - I just wanted to double check that the green nozels are the ones with the highest level of dampening correct? Only checking because all of the reviewer copies/reviews seem to reference the blue nozels being the highest level of damp

hmmm - Yeah I found in my set I liked the sound of the blues most. However, just in terms of actually dampening material is it supposed to be Grey/white =No dampening Blue = Little dampening material Green= most dampening material

I prefer the tips with the most dampening. Looks like the color rings may be swapped on your set? Someone did report something similar on Reddit.
