DeaditeWe've worked with some of the best ears in the community but we're also sending to veterans and others who have requested a review loaner sample in private messages after the announcement.
Unfortunately, not enough samples to go around for everyone but we try. Thank you if you requested, we really appreciate your interest and support! Trying to mix things up for the remaining launches this year, with new reviewers (though most are not new to the community). New reviewers for the JVC: Xero1, jwbrent, cn11 on Head-Fi.org. Also, had some requests for Crinacle to be a part of this one too...he was interested as he had tried stock and modded in the past.
Hopefully enough perspectives, online forums included, & histories of gear and preferences so that you have the data you need and the people to help answer questions for you. All of the community reviewers are volunteer participants.
DeaditeHey, If you want to know more about some of us, head on over to SBAF and check us out. Our community IEM modding wizard j444, came up with the mod on the FD01 and a bunch of us loved it. We’ve got a thread dedicated to it. And now we’re pretty pumped about Drop working with the JVC engineers to replicate, and in some ways improve, what we’ve been championing for a while now. All for less money. For me, as a long time Head-Fi and SBAF guy, this is one of the coolest things to happen in our hobby.
DeaditeI totally get your skepticism. But yeah- unless you're new you should know SGS, james444, a certain kitty cat, and the reputations that they carry. Me? I'm a complete shill; so you've got me. =) But in a few months you'll have a few hundred more opinions. Again, I get it. But hang tight...
