FDX1 and XBA-N3 are quite different, but both excellent.
The FDX1 is the more neutral, but still very engaging, smooth and coherent listen. Tunable from bright (not harsh) to harman-ish neutral. Excellent for acoustic music and vocals IMO. Great allrounder too.
The XBA-N3 has more bass punch, combined with a very well controlled mid-high range. More fun tuned, less coherent /DD+BA) and less optimized for timbre and natural balance. If you lean towards bass head, the better option. But I have to say it's been more than a year that I heard them.
