So let me start out by saying I feel bad about leaving this review here, but I don't know where else to put it. I hate it myself when people put their shopping experience in a review of the product, but people should know what to expect when ordering this product. I don't have the product yet despite ordering it 10 days ago (otdered 7/6) and won't for another week according to FedEx. iI am sure I will love it when I get it. It is just "Drop's" continuing decline in service that I am reviewing, and maybe it is particular product, maybe it is everything they do now. I dont think they really want to hear how their long time customers who have spent thousands on the site over the years (okay, tens of thousands) feel about the direction of the company. I ordered these because everyone I know that has them loves them and I accidentaly left my Campfire Atlas at my house I left in late June and don't know when I might return.
This will most likely be my last order from "Drop". The have lost their way. After ordering these IEMS showing "in stock" it took a week for them to even ship them. Then they must have paid extra (or got paid) to make FedEx ship them at an extra slow speed, pony expres was many days faster. I didn't even know FedEx had a service that took 4 days from PA to OH, let alone another week (8 days actually) to get from there to Oregon. I ship products across the country by Fed Ex economy and people get them in 4 days. Despite the week it took them to ship it at all (they uploaded a tracking number but didn't actually ship it for 4 more days) I didn't know you could ship a 1 oz package so slowly (USPS would have been here in 3 days and cost $5) I am done with drop.
Don't let this review dissuade you from buying this particular headphone, just get them direct from China and save yourself both time and money. They are harder to find but you wil get them faster and at a much lower price.
Hello, I know how you feel, I am facing the same issue as you even though I am using another shipping provider. It seems like this issue is universal, but this iem will be the last business i do with massdrop too. Thanks for your review, it shows that I'm not alone.
Thank you for sharing your experience but let me play devil's advocate here: perhaps the current pandemic situation might have contributed to the delays in shipping. I've ordered things from other sites recently, and there seems to be a trend with delays.
I see on your shipping label that it says Fedex Smart Post. That is the reason it is taking so long. That is handed off to the postal system for final delivery and it is the slowest delivery out there. 7-10days. You probably had no choice on delivery method but if you do in the future and are in a hurry don’t select smart post
bruh it's pandemic. my orders from every other sites besides Amazon is severely delayed. take a chill pill. people are risking their lives to deliver your items as fast possible. damn you're so spoiled.
"Totally Unfair Review" is absolutely right. Even items shipped with Amazon Prime take weeks to get to me, and their warehouse is in the next city. There's a pandemic right now, there's no reason to blame Drop for that. As for ordering from China that's the last thing I would do, shipping from Asia takes months right now.
Same issue. I ordered on 7/14. A tracking number was assigned on 7/16, but FedEx didn't actually receive them until 7/21. Then it took eleven days to arrive at my home in eastern Washington. They actually went through my city to the western side of the state where they sat for four days, then to Oregon before ultimately getting to me.
So, 18 days from order to receipt. I'm pretty sure I could have ridden a bike to NJ and picked them up myself in that time.
I’ll have to sternly disagree. The past 2-3 months items from all sources ESPECIALLY amazon gets to my house quicker than ever usually in 1-2 days. Weeks? That’s a HUGE problem.
