EDIT: After this comment, I was advised to reach out to support and they made it right by sending out another mystery set to make up for my 2nd box being identical. so I've amended my rating. I wasn't asked or expected to do, but it's clear Drop actually do care, and I should reflect that care, especially since I don't reside in the US and I wasn't asked to pay shipping.
I lucked out big time with this replacement that I feel that it acknowledges the risk, but leaves me with stuff I will be able to use so I can finally finish building my keyboard! I ended up with the exact switches I was planning to get for another build, which I'm now back to keen on doing, one keycap set I will definitely be using (Noctua) , and another that I wasn't particularly interested in (Skylight series rose variant), but knew a friend would like, so yay for a free xmas gift, as well as an Iron man desk mat. I already have a desk mat, but this looks amazing, and will be better suited to a second build keyboard so I'm planning to have one mat per keyboard. Why not?

I finally decided to build my first keyboard and took a chance on this because I couldn't decide on any one set of keycaps. There were so many amazing options here. So I got a couple of these figuring that between the two, I'd like something and throw them on the keyboard for now and enter the scene before I find what looks best on my case and slowly work towards my end game. Unfortunately, both boxes were the exact same. It was a risk that I willingly took, but I wish I'd just stuck with one at least, especially when I didn't like anything, not even slightly. *sigh*
I got:
Marvel Infinity Wars.
-Admittedly a nice looking set, but I just hate the colour purple so it's not for me.
Arctic Keysterine keycaps
- completely clear keycaps. I already have a clear case, so that's a bit too much for me!
White keycaps with black text.
- Yawn.

I actually thought there'd be something I like, and felt it'd be worth the risk. The biggest disappointment for me was the artisan especially. I looked at everything that was available and thought that the only thing I didn't like is those drinks, and cat paws, but at least with the latter, my gf would have gotten an awesome xmas stocking stuffer.
This is definitely something to avoid if you have my kind of luck apparently. Not only did I get two of the exact same box (unlikely doesn't mean impossible, and, again, I fully acknowledge I stupidly took this risk), but my artisan was literally one of only 2 in the entire available collection that I absolutely couldn't do anything with, and I got it twice!
I'll be staying away for sure now. I should have just found one set I liked and bought that. I honestly feel exceptionally silly for risking it with two boxes only to come away knowing full well I need to buy an entire set on top of that to just be able to build the board. That disappointment being so much so that I still haven't even fully built the keyboard. This legitimately put me off. So I definitely do NOT recommend mystery boxes to newbs. I thought it would be worth it because I was a newb with nothing, and neglected to think about how any disappointment might ruin the excitement surrounding the build.
I got unlucky, and would advise others learn from my mistake and don't take a risk. I thought I'd at least get some fun options. Maybe not something I stick with for a long time, but something fun at least. I ended up with only one set that had any actual colour, and it happened to predominately be a colour I can't stand.
All in, the quality of everything was fine, but I was disappointed in how plain my box*2 ended up being. I was hoping, at the very least, for some more colour!

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
