***Update*** After contacting support for a 3rd time Drop is saying its lost in transit and issued a refund. DO NOT ORDER THIS KNIFE! I ordered this and it “shipped out” April 15 2020. I have not received it. It was shipped from China. The tracking number stopped working because “to much time has passed” Drop customer support said they can’t help because I waited to long. This is the customer service you get with drop.

This looks almost identical to the Peña Knives Mini Diesel - like to the point that it seems like Drop just copied it and called it their own. The Diesel is actually made with quality materials, though.

I know this has been talked about in other drops but I haven't seen it mentioned here. Has anyone had this knife shipped to Australia successfully? I realise the Drop article says they will send folding knives to Australia, but wanted to know if anyone has actually received it. Due to the price I would hate for it to be confiscated due to customs being over-sensitive.

JRS2319Exactly why I refuse to order one. It's pretty bad when when I can order a twosun knife on ebay and it in 15 days but drop can't seem get it figured out. If this knife was in the US or was shipped reliably I'd own one already. Meanwhile I'll be waiting on ebay to buy one on the secondary market.

Another beautiful knife that gets no consideration of purchase because of the recurve. ( Strains of " If I were a Rich Man" from Fiddler on the Roof gently crescendo in the background.) I'd buy this ..... and a display case. If I were to buy this strains of "Dang Me" would be running thru my head. Put a drop point on this and I just might spend the groceries and half the rent.

Nice. You could probably keep a fine edge on this knife with the Edge Pro. There are some tips on Edge Pro’s website as well. Recurves do add some extra thought to the process though, you’re right.

Have any Canadians successfully brought in a folding knife. This site says they ship to Canada but it is buyer’s responsibility to know the rules. The rules as I read them aren’t clear. I’d feel better knowing someone had bought a similar folding knife without problems. I really like this one.
