Ok I found it. Something like this: Hold down M until it starts to flash. Press M again to enter settings. Use the up/down keys to get to "Un", then press M again. Then select between S1 and In. Wow!

I just received my base yesterday and assembled it last night. I have a 98" Karlby desktop (87lbs), 2 x 27inch monitors (36.6lbs), and a dual monitor arm (11.6lbs) on my desk (135.2lbs). The stand goes up as expected. However, on the way down, the desk begins to wobble a bit and after about a 5-10 drop, I get an E02 error. Based on the manual, I take found this to be an overload protection thing. I have found that I can bring it down in increments under 5 and the E02 doesn't occur. What is going on here? Is it because the desk is too wide? Am I not accounting for some weight somewhere? Would cutting the desktop down by 24" help resolve this?

I figured it out. Press and hold M until ---- appears. Then press and hold 1 and 3 until L1 appears. This resolves the issue.

How wide is the top of the frame? I want to make sure that I get a tabletop that is deep enough for the frame to fit.

It's about 22.5".
Does the desk shake or wobble 42+ inches high?

definitely wobbles a little, fine for typing, i don't know if i would want to do project work like drawing or cutting or sewing of something at that height. I'll note that that is REALLY high as desks go.
Is this strong enough to hold a desk mounted monitor arm holding 2 monitors?

Yes - I finished setting it up just now (with a 59 " x 30 3/4 " x .75" bamboo top). I'd expect the MDF desktop options you can order with the desk would be strong enough too.
