If this was the Plus model, then the pricing would be attractive. But it is priced the same as MSRP with an almost $10 money back. There's much deeper discount a few times a year on M&D. I don't really understand Drop anymore. If you're really into this colour scheme, that'd probably be the only reason you would buy this TWS here.
I just purchased the MW07 PLUS in Steel Blue on Amazon for $109.95. They had only one set left so I bought it. The price for it is now $137.10. That's still a good buy. On the M&D website they go for $299. I used the Honey application to find it at the lowest price. I suspect that they will have them at a lower price on Black Friday.
I think he might be mistaken. I checked camelcamelcamel (AMZN price tracker) and the original MW07 (non-plus) dropped as low as $109.95 but not the PLUS (lowest was about $224.25).
In case people are wondering, this is the same as the retail M&D MW07 product, with a colorway that is unique to Drop.com.
We set this up with M&D after doing our custom/fancy Godspeed colorway a few months back because we wanted to have a true wireless option to round out the offerings on our site. It's a great product, at a competitive (not jaw-dropping) price, and it has a unique look to it. Not every one of our product releases can be an industry changing HD6XX!
I have the godspeed color version of these. The battery life is amazing easily 8-10 hours. I wear them all day non stop. I also have owned google pixel buds, microsoft surface buds and samsung galaxy buds live. These sound way better than those do. The best feature is the connectivity. I can leave my apartment close the door and walk down to the car and still be connected. All the other wireless earbuds I have used if you have your phone in a awkward position in your pocket the will start cutting out these do not have that problem. They don't have any sort of app or way to ajust the sound profile everything is set from the physical buttons on them. This was a feature for me because I did not like the touch controls that I always accidentally hit or the volumn swipe that only worked half the time.
SCIFIcrabMainly battery life, noise cancelling and active listening mode.
I have the MW07 plus and they're great, but without the active listening I wouldn't buy them for my use case. If you don't need that these are just the MW07 but overpriced (I've seen the MW07 for as little as $80).
Personally I think the colorway on the earbuds is terrible, love the case though.
So I'm guessing these sound exactly the same as the regular models and the collab with Drop has no audible benefits. Because these guys commenting before me assume so....
These look great, and the MW07 GO are brilliant for Android users, but the best thing about them is honestly the fabric on the case, which these have chosen to forgo.
Stick with the regular version of these, IMO.
