Great keycap set!
I haven't tried any other Keycap profiles other than XDA or Cherry Profile. But I must say I am liking the sculpted feel of the MT3 keycaps. It makes you feel sure of what you are pressing. The height of the keycaps don't appear to be a problem for me. Mainly because I already keep my wrists lifted up while typing. They certainly do have a different sound profile to my other Profile Keycaps. But they still sound great. I will say this will make a badly lubed stabilizer sad worse. lol. I already knew I did a poor job of my spacebar but the keycap profile amplified it more. But I will say my other stabilizers still sound great. So if you do a good job of fixing up your stabilizers they will still sound good. I wish the Base kit came with some more R0 options. I would have liked a Delete key at the very least. I also really enjoyed the Colorway of the 3277 Keycaps. I'm thinking about getting some of the other kits to go with it. NOTE: I took advantage of the MT3 Bogo deal and also got the BOW MT3 set. Only concern currently is the possible shine of the Keycaps because of the ABS used. But I have seen a couple people that have used 2 different methods to shine the entire keycap and it looks flawless. So down the road as these develop some shine i'll be looking into making the entire keycap shine.

Classic set brings back feelings
When my mom was working on her doctorate, she sometimes took me along to the college library where she used a terminal to access research material. Although the memory is vague, maybe the terminal had keycaps like this. One of the ultimate expressions of the MT3 profile in my opinion. At first I thought the grey alphas were a bit too bleached for my taste. Looking at this photo of an IBM 3270 terminal , you can see the difference in contrast with the historical reference. Turns out I was worried about nothing. Once I'd installed the full set I was super impressed by the colorway.

Overall nice set
Happy with it overall, looks and feels great. My only complaint is that I wish the alphas were a shade (or two) darker and the mods a shade (or two) lighter. Got base sets + Red/Teal/Acid Green accent kits and all are fine, except for the Teal which I wish were a teeny bit more vibrant. The packaging is also brilliant, a bit of nostalgia Here’s a photo showing the both the 3277 and the Susuwatari

More MT3
More color options for MT3! Not sure what the deal is, I got my numpad and one accent kit before a got the base kit and other accent options! I can’t get enough of the MT3 profile!

ItscboAgreed. I want them all. On the other hand, if I could find them all and buy them, let's just say that I have had computers that cost less. ;)

Legends and colors...
I ordered the base kit and turquoise accents. Even though these keycaps are far from perfect, I'm still happy to have them. I guess I might not be as strict as some of the other reviewers. This was my first keycap groupbuy, and I'm happy I participated. These pros and cons are based on my own experience with the keycaps. I tried not to involve my own preferences, and base it purely on facts that I know. Pros:
  • Shipped faster than most other big keycap manufacturer groupbuys, even with a few delays.
  • Doubleshot ABS. Legends won't wear off.
  • Legending is centered and sharp. No faded or blurry edges.
  • Comes in relatively safe plastic trays with pieces of cardboard that hold the keycaps in place.
  • You can flip the spacebar (as long as you aren't using off-centered spacebar switch).
  • Keycaps are on the thicker side. About as thick as Domikey SA keycaps.
  • Texture is nice and consistent.
  • Kits come with an R1 escape keycap, besides the R0 one. Great if you're using a keyboard with less than 6 rows.
  • Keycaps sit perfectly straight on the switches. Not like those cheap, warped dye-subbed PBT keycaps from AliExpress.
  • Keycap mounts are tight (pro). They won't fly off of your switches easily.

Cons:
  • Colors look slightly off from the renders. The alphas look lighter and the mods darker.
  • Sometimes there are some inconsistencies with the legend thickness. For example, my stepped caps lock keycap seems to have much thicker and bolder legends than my 2.25u left shift keycap. This stands out a lot, especially since these keycaps sit right next to eachother.
  • Spacebars are warped.
  • Keycap mounts are tight (con). This may cause the mounts to crack or stretch when trying to put them on switches with thicker stem mounts. You may also have trouble removing keycaps from switches, which may cause you to damage the keycaps and/or switches.
It pains me to say this, but these keycaps should have, and could have been so much better than they are. It's such a shame, because they definitely have some great things going for them. Like someone else here said before me: great concept, poor execution. I'm still going to enjoy the keycaps because I still really like them. It just leaves a sour taste in my mouth knowing I paid pretty big money for expensive keycaps with issues you see on cheap ones. I'm giving 3 stars, but I can't recommend this product until the most important problems are resolved.

Color was not as vibrant as the render
Given the amount of delay (3x) and the lack of communication from the Drop felt like this set was not really for prime time. Additional it felt as if the Drop team prioritize the marvel keycap set over 3277 which they set out for GB earlier this year prior to the launch of the marvel set. Without transparency from Drop regarding it's keycap timeline between 3277 vs marvel it's difficult to say which started first. This entire experience makes extremely difficult to recommend any preorder with drop in the future. Additional drop should have considered obtaining color matching before going to pre-order.

Was not worth the delays
Even though I got it as a free set ( due to another delay from the first susuwatari set) Set comes textured, and combined with the lighter gray of the alpha set, the legends looks kind of soft. Legend of the iso enter looks uneven while the legends of the other accent keys looks great I planned to polish this set so the legends looks a little crispier than what they were out of the box. Look closer and see some glaring issues.
Caps themselves are pretty neat, good build quality and nice feel to the caps. However theres a few glaring issues: (1) Ship time was horrendously late, now I know that this is the MK community and delays are pretty much expected these days but from Drop+Matt30 its something that I would expect to be better mannaged. Especially when the delay has been as long as it has been. (2) Legends have some issues. The text legends seem to have a different thickness/lineweight to them, the text on my Capslock key seems to be almost tripple the tickness of my Shift key below it. Inconsistencies like these should not be put past quality control, especially at this pice point, these are not some cheap caps, prices are GMK or ePBT comparable. (3) Renders vs product. Okay so hear me out on this one, I know renders stray usually a fair amount from the finished product, usually this is perfectly understandable however these renders differ quite a lot. From the legend size, to the wording used, and worst of all the colours. The colour of these caps compared to the renders is fairly off, the colour mods are no where near as vibrent as the renders. The caps themselves are also heavily textured, but again no effort was taken to display this in the renders, I wouldn't mind if adding surface textures to renders digitally was hard, but its a very easy job to do. Its a shame I have to flame these keycaps so much as what they do right they do very well, however I could not recomend this set without telling people of the glaring isuess behind it. If you dont mind the more muted colours of the mod packs, the legends adgacent to eachother being off (this in my opinion is the worst issue as its so visible) and the loooooong shipping time this set may be for you, however I do not think that these issues should be present at this price point, by a manufacturer that is as established as these guys are. Im honestly very disapointed with these caps.

Yeah I bought a couple of base sets, a num-pad set and 2 accent colours. I have the "turquoise" and "acid green". Acid green is close enough to the renders (within the scope of variation that I'd say is deemed acceptable within the community). However I'd agree the turquoise is way out, so far away from the colour in the renders it kinda makes me think that this is why the caps were delayed so much. Its possible that getting certain pigments became difficult and insted of delaying further they went with a sub-par product instead.

reeceyb1234Yes, I got Acid Green too. That’s the only one I found acceptable, which is why I didn’t mention it.

Good quality caps, iffy colors and legends
Got the red accents with the main set. The red accents are awesome, and the black modifiers are pretty good. Legends on the modifiers aren't perfect, but nothing to really annoy me. My gripe is with the alphas. The contrast between the grey and the white isn't enough for me, and the legends are not sharp. It's like I'm looking at the caps with my glasses off. Which isn't in itself a problem, but looks really bad when contrasted with the accents and modifiers which are very sharp with great contrast.

Colors are off
A sentiment already oft-shared, but let me add to the chorus. Most of the accent colors are way off, much less saturated than depicted. I got Acid Green, Tangerine, Salmon and Turquoise. Unfortunately I'm a bit of a color nerd, so I'm very particular about color naming. While it's understood that mockups, especially on screens, don't translate exactly to final products, the names of colors actually tell people what to expect. Thankfully I like pastel colors, especially the turquoise that came out looking like the Daphne Blue of Fender guitars, which I adore. Of the ones I got, only Acid Green is within reasonable deviation. Salmon turned out to be what most people would just call pink, something I wouldn't have bought. Otherwise it's good quality, and a great profile. Box design is a nice touch. I would still recommend this product, just check actual photos first before picking accents.
