somerandomdude0104buddy this is LITERALLY based on an IBM 3277 Beamspring and the colorway of its keycaps. Not Modern Dolch. Modern Dolch was based on GMK Dolch anyway, which was based on the Dolch PAC system and keyboard. So is this a clone of a clone of a clone?

hdsharpe1Nice keyboard, Signature Plastics makes 8u and even 9u SA spacebars. I get that most keyboards don’t support those sizes, but it would be fun to experiment with new layouts or replicate old vintage style layouts.
howgiiYes, it would. I knew sig made an 8, but I didn't realize they also made a 9. I think my favorite bottom row layouts are either the one RAMA Works often uses uses (1.25-Ctrl/Opt/Alt; 7u space bar; 1.5 FN key; blocker; 1u button arrow if 65%) or HHKB (outside blockers, don't like the WKL inner blocker look), or a layout that allows me to split the space bars into 2.25(right shift)/1 FN/2.75 shift. Broken my right hand so many times that I can't use my pinky to hit the right shift gracefully, and using the left shift for all caps slows me down about 10 wpm if a I have any As, Qs, Zs, Cs, !, @, #, $, or %. Putting shift under my thumb in swapping to colemak was the best decision I ever made. I've always wanted to start a high end design company that builds the peripherals around a client instead of pushing one generic ergonomic design on many people that has its own issues.
