The Ergodox set is not the same as the Base Kit. You can not mix and match between the kits. One is matte and one is semi gloss. I bet the Ergo set is PBT. I wanted to order the Ergo addon to another kit I have, but now I'm hesitant.

If there's anyone that has purchased the Ergodox set and has 4 leftover 1.50u caps and 2 1u caps, preferably black or an accent color and are willing to sell them, please let me know. I have a ZSA Moonlander that I bought the ortholinear kit for which I'm quite happy with, but I need two extra normal keys and four keys for the thumb cluster.

StpnThey've never existed. Drop ran into production problems with making blank MT3 keys out of ABS plastic. Last I heard, they were trying to make them out of PBT instead and color-match them, but the color samples turned out wrong. Given it's been months now, I would guess it's unlikely either kit will ever see the light of day.

Once more asking about some updates on the Ergo/blank kits, last official update dates to september 2021!
Drop, this is possibly the worst customer service I've ever seen. Good job!?

simaonevesThe person who was handling updates here for Drop had to leave for personal reasons, and his replacement hasn't been posting new updates yet.
Last I knew (January) they still hadn't figured out how to make single-shot ABS blanks for an ergo kit in bulk; the yields were too low, with too many bad keys. And they were having trouble color-matching them when they experimented with making them in PBT instead.

I'd love to buy this set but the lack of accent kits for ortho make this a fairly dull set. It also seems pointless to buy knowing the ergo and blanks are still in limbo
