Don't purchase if you have the Glorious GMMK Pro or a 75% keyboard.
Received this keyboard for Xmas so I'm new to the custom keyboard scene. The first purchase is my fault for not realizing that the 65% kit would not work with my keyboard only after assembling and realizing the right shift key along with Alt, Function, and Control keys all being to big. I processed the return and promptly purchased the 1800 Kit only to have the same issue. I don't think having to purchase a whole second kit for another set for $50 warrants the price for only three keys. Its disappointing that even after reaching out drop wont sell the three keys needed to complete this set. A shame that I'm out shipping for two failed keycap purchases and drop lost a sale. The keycaps themselves were great and felt great with the only weird thing being the right side with the Delete, PG up, PG down, and end being different sizes.
Weird that there are 2 listings, good keycaps though.
Forget if I bought the base set or the ortho set on this listing. Weird that they were/are separate, but good keycaps regardless. Own a set for both of my main keyboards, a Preonic and a CTRL.
Keycaps look and feel good. I bought the Ortho kit for my Planck EZ. Maybe my setup is not very common, but I am missing a CTRL key for R3 (I've been remapping my CapsLock key for years), and an ESC key for R4.
The most problematic bit is R3: there is not even a blank key provided.
Was really happy the first time I got these, MT3 profile is very unique to type on in a good way. The sculpted caps helps with your fingers to hit the right spot.
I did swap them out for my current favourite, the CAT Cyberspace because the MT3 doesn't support backlit which I find odd. If you don't like backlit then you can always turn that off but for someone like me that does love it it's a bit disappointing that none of the MT3 sets have backlit support.
The keycap is in good condition and I arrived safely without any loss. Delivery was delayed due to customs clearance because it was the end of the year, but it's okay because the product is in good condition. Thank you.
The keycaps are wonderful. They look great and the profile allows for some nice acoustics on the metal keyboard that I have. The typing experience took a bit at first, but overall feels great to type on.
I do feel, however, that it would be much better if the F and J keys had the bump/ridge on it so it would be easier to arrange my hands on the home row key without looking. I can't tell you how many times I've mistyped due to having my hands arranged incorrectly
