REALLY unfortunate MiTo..
This set is a blatant rip off of GMK Muted and the GMK Mr sleeves add-on. To claim ignorance when it's literally a carbon copy one of the most coveted gmk combos.. Unfortunate.
As close as you can get to infringing on another's IP. Really dissapointing from a guy whose had such success with his own designs.

AyEnKayGood lord you are sensitive... DCS Sleeper is a light gray set with a little bit of color added in. This is hardly a new idea that was invented in the last few years of GMK sets.
Mito is not stealing anyone's design, it's just a different take on the most common keycap appearance from the last 50 years of computers.

Really? DCS? and just MX mounts? Why? DCS is a crappy Cherry Profile Clone- thin, and still made from ABS. Even a JTK set would be better, if not by much.

astrooooI think that more than a copy of gmk muted it's a inspired by the generic colorway of the keyboard of the '90s, the same that inspired GMK muted, and in the same way instead of a copy of the sleeves add on to me it seems inspired by the cherry 9009 (also note that the sleeves add on has two colors while this have four, and only the light blue is similar to the one found on sleeves).

It's a shame one who cares so dearly about his own IP would trample so carelessly and imitate a set "format" that is so well known in the hobby. At that, sell at an unreasonable cost.
I want more DCS myself, and available to a larger crowd, but this isn't the way to go about that.

I am not chosing to ignore them, they are nearly non-existant in documentation. I don't believe pastell-y colours are 90s at all, the 90s look was incredibly saturated neon colours. I'm looking at it, but I evidently don't see it through your lens.

Quoting myself, I didn't mean sleeper builds containing a soft RGBY palette in the equipment itself, that was a misinterpretation from your end admittedly due to my wording. What I actually meant is that the inspiration of the project are sleeper builds (monotone/Turbo/Power/HDD), with an added soft RGBY palette, so the user can make his/her own unique set (full yellow, green, mixed etc).

To the people who actually think this set is a rip-off to GMK muted and GMK Mr.Sleeves add-ons, please understand the reasoning behind the thought process of the colorways and the keysets from all makers. For GMK Muted, the designer wanted to create a keyset that had muted colors, and so he created a set with those colors and made his set. The GMK Mr.Sleeves add-on kit, Taeha types wanted to create accents for the GMK Muted using the colors from his sweater sleeves that made him get the nickname, "Mr. Sleeves" and even stated it works for other "NEUTRAL base sets." and MiTo made DCS Sleeper for his appreciation for sleeper PC mods hence the keyset's name. All these keysets have their different backstory for their creations, their own design process. All because they all use some pastel-looking add-ons and gray neutral alphas and mods doesn't mean they are rip-offs of one or the other. If we agreed that MiTo did rip-off the GMK Muted design, I can fucking say The people who designed GMK minimal, KAT Refined, GMK Hennessey, GMK Bleached, stole from one another's designs because they all use white keycaps and black legends.
I don't own GMK Muted or the Mr.Sleeves add-on keysets, hell I wasn't even a part of this keyboard community when those sets were released. And after just 3 minutes of researching, I found out the reasoning behind their colorways and the keyset designs to come to a conclusion that there was absolutely no ripping off of one or the other's keysets. So quit your small-dick bitchin and just appreciate the results of the keyset's look from MiTo's process to even get another keyset designed this year.

With how hard it is to acquire custom quality keycaps (either pay exorbitant second hand markup or wait year+ for delivery) people should be happy @MiTo and other creationist are working to make our hobby more accessible.
The outrage culture that has overtaken the internet in recent years is sad.
This keyset has a mild resemblance to another set.
That's it.

In fairness, Signature Plastic can produce in their own 'thin', larger legends, or go with cherry-style. Both molds are available, see DCS Midnight, very, very similar albeit not the exact same as what is used with GMK production.
