These keycaps feel great to type on and have a quality feeling build. The legends are crisp and the design is subtle, but not boring.
Also, I did get these on a BOGO sale, so I paid ~$60 for the set. I believe they would be worth the full price ($99), however, I would wait for them to go on sale.
I'll revisit this review in the future if I feel the quality has deteriorated.
Got this for my SO.
She really likes the sound and feel. Colorway is decent.. "cute" according to her, but it could use some more accents.. Could also do with some extra R4 function keycaps as it doesn't quite populate a Keychron Q6
I got the keebkey and it’s a really cool artisan style keycap. The only down side is it doesn’t really math the profile of R4 or R3, it’s somewhere in between
I love how there are either DCX BOGOs or DCX sets on sale that allow DKC coupons to be used on them. Got this and 9009 for a tad bit $100 shipped, and while I prefer GMK, I wanted to save money over GMK Dolch/9009! DCX is a bit thicker, resulting in a tad bit deeper sound versus GMK, and the legending isn't as crisp (notably in the number row and mods), but hey, doesn't make me stay away from DCX!
I've got more than 10 boards on my wall, and 9009 looks would look good on any of them. The retro beige color base is so versatile, and the muted pink/green adds just enough color when needed. A colorwave that belongs in any keyboard hobbyist's collection. DCX as usual is the best in stock alternative to GMK...
