Dive Into a Sea of Cyan

Ever been hit by a wave of nostalgia? How about a whole sea of it? Hold your breath: it’s time to dive into the not-so-distant past—to patterned clothes, paper cups, and colors that really pop. We took the plunge ourselves, and we brought back a brand-new keycap set: DCX Cyanlet. Designed by MiTo with an electric color first unveiled on the legends of GMK Pulse’s Mitolet Kit, this throwback set turns up the voltage with that same cyan as its primary color. They say hindsight is 20/20—and DCX Cyanlet is proof, thanks to ultra-vivid doubleshot legends injected within exacting tolerances of nearly 0.05 millimeters. We took over 2 years to meticulously create the gently cylindrical DCX experience, crafting a subtly sculpted top that’s both familiar and undeniably unique. The profile itself is on the shorter side, but the caps are among the heaviest at their size, delivering a sturdy feel with excellent durability. Get your hands on these DCX advantages and more—including truly hidden sprue marks, strong shine resistance, and excellent compatibility—with DCX Cyanlet. Not bad for a bit of nostalgia.

DCX: Keycaps That Don’t Compromise

Both a brand-new profile and a bar-raising build, DCX delivers a truly exceptional typing experience, down to the finest details. After the success of MT3, we set out to make a new keycap with an even higher standard of quality—and we left no stone unturned; or untyped. Taking over 2 years to refine our design, strengthen our manufacturing, and gather input from our community, we created a shorter, subtly sculpted keycap worthy of any endgame keyboard. The embodiment of our newest, most exacting build processes, DCX keycaps are made from ultra-substantial, proprietary ABS material that’s neither shiny nor hollow-sounding. For a truly blemish-free look that lasts, each keycap’s sprue mark is located on its interior (rather than on a finished side, like many caps). Look closely at the doubleshot legends, and you’ll find next to no flaws there either, since each one is injected within precise tolerances of nearly 0.05 millimeters. Plus, all DCX sets feature carefully considered design principles, including symmetrical vertical margins, consistent left-side legend alignment for all rows, and extensive Base Kit compatibility. It’s excellence, at every level. It’s DCX, exclusively on Drop.

Shift legends have been updated for about half a year now, so no worries about that on any new sets. Same with the added 'B' key for Alice support. (if the kitting render shows the Alice 'B', the...Read More

Question
Is the cyan in this set a darker shade than the cyan found on the accent keys in the Violac set? From the pictures I can't tell as the Enter key photos show a brighter cyan shade than the keyboard renders.

They're just generic, color-matched renders, so it's not an ACTUAL board. That said, if I had to speculate, given this is Drop, they probably based it off the Sense75. If you got one custom...Read More
