This is an amazing set and it has the quality that would expect from a GMK set. Legends are crisp and spacing is even through out the all caps. It’s definitely a unique colour scheme that, in my personal opinion, it would go well with different colour keyboards like white, creamy white, yellow, light blue, light grey and even black. And of course acrylic!
Really nice looking set with a very full novelty kit
The quality of the caps are as you'd expect from GMK, the color is very nice with a softer cream color on the alphas and an overall muted tone with the blue. Having seen images of the Apollo inspiration, MiTo really nailed it with the colorway and overall decisions on accents.
Finally got my first and only GMK, godspeed. My favourite profile is mt3, even got godspeed on MT3, but still decided to get the GMK version when it went on sale. One fault on the mt3 godspeed is the modifier legends is in black and for both mt3 and SA, the font somehow does not look as good as the GMK, i think one reason the legends are centered. (?) understand mt3 was done in pbt i assume that is why the legends was in black (should have made it in ABS even just for the white legends),,. and the center legends of SA and mt3 are because they are scooped profiles. the cherry profile GMK is the perfect in looks. the perfect shades of beige, blue, yellow, red, all combined, always pleasing to the eye. Also sounds good - clacky. Getting it on sale always helps, makes it more worth it, that goes for all keycaps :).
I'll preface this by saying that I own most of Godspeed SA (including the Supernova Alphas that took forever to get my hands on) and the super different MT3 Godspeed kit (Wes Anderson in spaaaaaace...) and this set took me by surprise when I opened it. It is so different than either of its siblings, albeit much closer in style to the SA kits. It has strong, consistent blues and reds, the yellow is more saturated than either of the other sets, and the cream is straight-up vintage looking. Like, nicotine-stained, authentic, pulled from a NASA control room vintage. If the SA set looks like Godspeed would in the 1960's, GMK Godspeed looks like that room would look now. And that's a good thing. It's exactly what I was hoping for when I mounted it to my QK75 Milky White, and it pairs nicely when set next to older tech. The only complaint I might have is that the legends are a bit sloppy at times, with fairly obvious bleed that makes them look a bit blurry. But it's such a minor detail, and only adds to the "aged" appearance of the set. Very impressed.
Most aesthetically pleasing keycaps. The color combination is outstanding. They are on a fully modified GMMK PRO and Keychron Q0 numpad (also modded). Sound amazing, especially on the modified Q0. I think it would look even better on a pastel botanical colored keyboard.
The novelties kit give you a multitude of options, while also looking amazing. The art is smooth and exceptional with a hint of minimalism.
The shine with me isn't a concern. I don't really notice it (though, I do use a keyboard cleaning brush)
