Is there a way for us to know how many of a certain kit has sold? I would like to add a kit to my base set and was gonna keep an eye on how many are sold to get the 10 or 15 bucks off if I do decide to add the second kit.

Please just add it. Remove it if in two weeks it hasn't met a price break. If everybody does what you do, there will never be a price break.

To answer your question: there will be daily updates, except for the weekends I think.

knowing how purchases made with paypal are processed, I don't think it would be wise for paypalbois to place their orders between price drops

from my experience the paypal issues are mainly the 30 day limit for the "money draw authorization" (don't know how to call it properly), if you join on day 1 and drop charges the money from your account a few days after the drop ends, you may have to re-authorize within 24h or something. and the 2nd issue is when you add options to an already existing order so the total price goes up. i have never had any issues with drop charging less money than the authorized amount in my two years of membership.

You are probably right. I remember I had to reconfirm payment during a keycap recap and it was a bit stressful, but I might have changed my order after placing it, I'm not sure

We tested it internally with Oblivion. When using PayPal, adding kits such that the final amount is higher than the authorization amount (determined by the total of your initial order) will result in a payment failure. If you remove kits and/or have the final amount decrease due to price breaks, PayPal will still process normally. That said, when it comes to keycap buys, we still recommend that you cancel and place a new order rather than edit an existing order just to be safe.
