Hey everyone, going to start updating here.
August 26th Update: The short of it is that GMK production as a whole is running behind by about a month so these are now estimated to ship to our warehouse with a target date of November 11th. Given typical transit times this means that these will ship from our warehouse to everyone closer to November 30th, but that is of course subject to a little flex with the way things are right now.
The slightly longer version is that a lot of businesses closed down for awhile due to COVID and GMK started running into supply issues with their resin supplier who provides all the colored plastic for their keycaps. As of now production moving forward and GMK is working as quickly as possible to catch back up, but the lack of resin is causing a small cascade effect which is resulting about a month of delay to the entirety of their production schedule.
I'll post back here with any new information as I get it.
Nov 24th Update: (From Kevin): GMK said they're finishing this up and expect to be complete late this week, or next week. Realistically with the global shipping lanes as busy as they are, we'll probably be shipping these keycaps in mid-December, versus Nov 30th.

AlexPkThanks for these updates! Out of curiosity, as someone who just purchased a Mitolet set on 10/25, I find it difficult to believe I could be getting a GMK set by 11/30. Did Drop place a large prepaid order up front?

GreatScawtWe placed an order a while ago for units to sell in inventory. You are pre-ordering from those incoming units. This is not a traditional style group buy where the keycaps are produced after the conclusion of the buy.
@KrisMerr The shipment date is unchanged for now. As this is a pre-order, orders will be fulfilled once we have the units on hand. For fulfillment, older orders will be prioritized over more recent orders, but the difference (at a maximum) in shipping date from our warehouse should only be a matter of days.

dirteggNov 11 was the target date to ship out from GMK to our warehouse, not the targeted arrival date. We don't state a targeted arrival date because that isn't known until the goods are in transit.
That said, it's looking like the schedule is ~2 weeks behind the estimate listed in Alex's update above.

longnoseshrinkleGMK does not ship directly to customers. It ships from GMK to our warehouse in NJ. We then unpack the bulk shipment and ship individual orders to customers.

asd00Current status that I am able to see is that they have arrived stateside. Answers to your second and third questions would be speculation, so I can only say, "Soon."
